COOKERY WORKSHOP IN INDIAN BREAD

Indian-Breads

Different types of bread made out of Wheat Flour, Refined Wheat Flour, Ragi Flour, Black Lentil, and Rice etc. are an integral part of Indian Cuisine. Some of the bread made of wheat flour are the popular Tava Roti, Chapati, Phulka, Plain Paratha, Stuffed Paratha, Puri.

Join us for a full hands-on cooking class where you learn to prepare these bread right from the start to finish which includes kneading of the dough, flattening by rolling pin, cooking on the tava etc. Relish it with simple accompaniments, as we also teach you to prepare Mint Chutney, Yoghurt Vegetable Raita, Aloo ki Sabzi & more.

A hard copy of the recipes will be given during the workshop and soft copy of it will also be mailed after the class.

In the four hours that you will spend with us you will learn all the basics and gain all the confidence and with some practice back home in your kitchen, we are sure these Indian Bread will form part of your daily Cuisine as well.

Itinerary

9.30 am – 10.15 am: Arrival and Welcome with breakfast.

10.15 am – 10.30 am: Introduction to different ingredients and utensils in making of Indian Bread.

10.30 am – 12.45 pm: Demonstration and Hands-on Cooking in different types of Indian Bread and Accompaniments

 

Breads:

  1. Plain Paratha
  2. Stuffed Paratha
  3. Poori 
  4. Roti
  5. Tava Butter Naan

Accompaniments:

  1. Mint Chutney
  2. Coconut chutney
  3. Yoghurt Vegetable Raita
  4. Aloo ki Sabzi (Potato Vegetable)

12.45 pm – 1.15 pm: Enjoy the Indian Bread with Accompaniments as Lunch

1.30 pm: Departure

Note: We can guide you to procure these simple equipment and utensils such as the tava, skillet, wooden rolling pin (Belan) etc. which you can use to prepare these bread back home in your kitchen.

Rates:  Rs 4250/- per person. Pl note this class is conducted if we have minimum two bookings. For a single person, the rates are Rs 5250/-
