Preparation Method:-
- Marinate the fish in the mixture of ginger garlic paste, Vinegar, turmeric powder and salt to taste for 30 minutes.
- Take a flat bottom pan, add 1 tbsp of oil and Shallow fry the fish till half done, say 1 minute on each side. Keep aside.
- Grind the dry spices along with green chilies with little water to a very fine paste.
- Take a flat bottom pan, add oil, when oil is hot add the roundels of onion, tomato and capsicum, stir fry gently for ½ a minutes without breaking the rings.
- Add the ground paste and the water or fish stock. Bring to boil.
- Add the rice flour dissolved in 2 tbsp of water. Mix well.
- Add the coconut milk , bring to boil, very gently leave the fish into the pan.
- Add salt to taste. Swirl the pan very gently taking care not to break the fish.
- Put off the flame. Serve the Guisado without Goan bread.
